Cancatenated Sentence in Noise 1.2.1

The Concatenated Sentence Recognition in Noise (10x5) test evaluates an individual's ability to identify sentences presented within a noisy environment using a closed-set format. During the assessment, five-word sentences are generated dynamically through concatenation methods, ensuring variability in the stimuli. Sentences are played at predetermined signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs), and the user is required to select the correct words from a provided list. Upon correct responses, the SNR is reduced to present more challenging listening conditions. The user's sentence recognition threshold is determined as the lowest SNR at which they can correctly identify 50% of the trials, providing an objective measure of speech comprehension in noise.
